You're absolutely
right 'bad memories', it could even have been the 1998 Seminar
money that Bruce paved his house with. For most of the
seminars he puts the fund raising money into his credit card
account and then everything he buys he then tries to link back
to the seminar to justify it. |

That photo of
Bruce Cairney brings back bad memories. It must have been
about 13 or 14 years ago, when he had us all fundraise for the
club, and for new equipment, and he spent it on some type of
liquid tile for his yard. Of course, it was for him, and not
for the school. How damn ripped off do you think we felt! No
wonder we quit after this. Yes, I represent the sentiment of
others. The guy is a user and a thief. |

Bruce used to love
to 'pay out' on his TKD rival with "South Pacific Tae Kwon Do
steal your doe". But at least South Pacific black belt
instuctors were exempt from tuition fees. As someone commented
earlier: What a rip! |

As a former
student of Bruce Cairneys, and as a student of another style
now, I now understand just how shallow and fu##ing stupid the
guy is when it comes to knowing about martial arts. he knows
f##k all. and that's an understatement! Bruce would know about
3% of what my current instructor knows. Maybe less. [## admin

During Kwang Jo
Choi's Australian visit in 2003, he told the black belt
instructors several times that they should be starting their
own schools around Townsville. The black belts were very
enthused after Choi's visit, but every time we approached
Bruce Cairney he tried to shut down the idea and defer us. The
sentiment that we got from Bruce Cairney was that CKD in
Townsville was his prosperity and we weren't entiled to it,
contrary to what GMC had suggested. |

Hello there.
My Kids used to train with Bruce Carney in Kirwan. What a
shonk and rip off. Thankyou for exposing this dud. My kids
don't want to do martial arts again because of the bad way he
treated us. |

I used to train at
the Martial Arts Centre a few years ago, under Bruce Cairney.
I used to attend the early morning classes, until I got my
black belt and then found myself running the classes without
Mr Cairney even turning up. Subsequently I left, I enjoyed
training, but still feel very unfairly treated. |
